Our Industrial Automation Experience and Achievements

With a diverse background and deep expertise in industrial automation, we have successfully collaborated across a wide range of industries, from energy and manufacturing to aerospace, automotive, and more.

Through our commitment to technical excellence, we have built a strong track record in designing, installing, and commissioning automated systems, directly enhancing operational efficiency, safety, and overall performance for our clients. Explore our projects to see how our passion for automation has shaped an exceptional professional journey.

Field experience applied to complex industrial projects

Automation implementation is not simply a matter of programming a PLC. It requires understanding the process, the electrical and mechanical interfaces, the safety conditions, the communication networks, and the real-world operational constraints. INOMATEX combines engineering, software development, and commissioning expertise to ensure the success of every stage of the project.

Our services can include functional analysis, PLC programming, HMI or SCADA development, FAT and SAT testing, input/output control, loop checks, interlock testing, sequence validation, fault diagnosis, and startup assistance. Explore our expertise in industrial automation , the sectors supported by INOMATEX , and our engineering, subcontracting, and commissioning services .

Automation projects for the Oil & Gas, LNG and offshore sectors

INOMATEX has specific experience in the commissioning phases of Oil & Gas and LNG installations. Our missions have notably included the commissioning of marine loading arms, transfer sequences, PMS and CPMS systems, positioning functions, interfaces with DCS and ESD1 and ESD2 safety testing.

On-site, our automation engineers test sensors, actuators, valves, motors, drives, input/output modules, and industrial communications. Tests are carried out progressively to validate operating modes, alarms, interlocks, emergency stops, and the conditions required for initial transfer or start-up.

These projects may utilize Siemens SIMATIC PLCs , HIMA SILworX security systems, Yokogawa architectures , as well as Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP or RTU, OPC, RS-232 and RS-485 communications. The objective is to guarantee an operational, documented installation that is consistent with site requirements.

Automation of production lines, special machines and logistics centers

Our industrial projects also encompass production lines, special-purpose machinery, handling equipment, conveyors, logistics centers, hydraulic presses, thermoforming systems, and test benches. We intervene to create new functions, adapt existing programs, optimize sequences, or bring installations back online after modifications.

The programming is adapted to the existing architecture on the site: Siemens STEP 7 or TIA Portal , Rockwell Studio 5000 and RSLogix , Schneider Unity Pro or EcoStruxure Control Expert , Omron , and other industrial platforms. Operator interfaces are developed to facilitate operation, diagnostics, alarm management, data logging, and maintenance.

When a system becomes difficult to maintain, INOMATEX can analyze backups, identify obsolete hardware, define a migration solution, and prepare restart tests. This approach limits technical risks and facilitates the gradual evolution of existing installations.

From design to launch: a method built on field experience

Each project begins with an analysis of the process, available documentation, software versions, and existing architecture. The scope, responsibilities, interfaces, and deliverables are clarified before development or on-site intervention.

The functions are then verified through simulation, internal testing, FAT, SAT, or progressive testing on the installation. During commissioning, changes are tracked in backups, spare parts lists, test sheets, and intervention reports.

This structure allows INOMATEX to work as a design office , subcontractor, on-site technical assistance , or commissioning support. Intervention can focus on a specific phase or the entire lifecycle of the automated system.
